Alain Marques is CEO and Co-founder of AgFoodVentures, an innovation and investment ecosystem focused on the agri-food value chain in Brazil. With more than 15 years of experience in innovation, venture capital, startup acceleration and open innovation, he has supported the growth of hundreds of startups and innovation programs. Alain co-founded one of Brazil’s pioneering startup accelerators through the Startup Brasil Program in 2013, achieving a successful exit in 2017. He is a Member of the AgroDigital Innovation Committee of Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture and the World Agriculture Forum Council.
