With 20+ years of experience in leadership positions in industry and agriculture, Augusto Moraes is a member of the Executive Board of Corteva in Brazil and Latin America and Director of Institutional Relations for the region. Core responsibilities include safeguarding Corteva's portfolio and intellectual property, ensuring access of innovation to strategic markets, the protection of production and research operations, and the feasibility of new investments. He also spearheads relationships with authorities, grower associations and industry entities, among other stakeholders. At Corteva from January 2016, Augusto accompanied and supported the entire merger and spin off process between DuPont and DOW Chemical, which resulted in the creation of Corteva. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at BASF, the Brazilian Association of Food Industries (ABIA) and Edelman, among other institutions.
