Marcelo Batistela is an agronomist, graduated from the State University of Londrina, with further specializations from Funda''o Dom Cabral, Funda''o Get'lio Vargas, and Harvard Business School. He has a solid career of over 25 years in agribusiness, more than 20 of which have been at BASF. Batistela began his journey in the agricultural sector in Research and Development and joined BASF in 2003 as a Technical Sales Representative, holding various positions in Sales and Marketing over the years. He served as BASF's Global Vice President of Business Excellence in Germany from 2019 to 2023, when he returned to Brazil to take on the role of Vice President of BASF Agricultural Solutions in Brazil.
