Michael Roth is a business development professional with extensive experience at the intersection of agronomic data, quantitative risk modelling, and financial risk transfer. He currently serves as Business Development Manager at Munich Re’s AgRisk Partners, where he works with all player along the agricultural value chain to structure yield–based hedging solutions.

Michael focuses on transforming farm‑level data into scalable financial instruments, including volume and contingent price hedges. His work bridges agronomic modelling, independent index data, and capital markets, enabling agricultural businesses to stabilize cash flows and manage yield volatility beyond the limits of traditional insurance.

Prior to joining Munich Re, Michael held senior underwriting and management roles at GreenTriangle, Qatar Reinsurance, Novae Re, and Swiss Re, building deep expertise in agricultural and structured risk solutions across international markets.
