After achieving the lieutenant first class rank in the German armed forces, he went on obtaining multiple degrees such as a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from a globally recognized University in this space. During his studies Niels Grabbert spent 7 years in sensor research and development at one of the most prestigious institutes, the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration (IZM) as a team lead. He is the holder of several patents and the author of various recognized publications. Before founding Stenon he was advising multiple Berlin-based tech companies on their technologies and partially served as interim CTO. From the founding of the company Niels has overseen Stenon's technology and innovation, establishing the technology vision, strategies and growth plan.
