An agronomist with over 20 years of experience in crop systems and plant protection, Bonnecarrere is a key figure in Indigo's strategy. Since 2019, he has led the biologicals business in Latin America, overseeing strategies, diversification, product development, and positioning. Under his leadership, the company has built a robust portfolio of over 20 products and an innovative pipeline, with annual strategic launches of solutions for tropical agriculture, including products targeting water and nutritional stress, as well as biocontrol of diseases and nematodes. Bonnecarrere's career in agronomy is marked by strong academic credentials and practical experience. He graduated from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), holds a master's degree in plant nutrition from the same institution, and earned a Ph.D. in plant physiology from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture at the University of S'o Paulo (ESALQ/USP). In addition, he worked for 16 years at BASF, focusing on research and development (R&D) and market strategies in the area of crop protection and agrochemicals.
