Tomas has over fifteen years of experience in the financial industry, and a decade in Agribusiness private equity at Aqua Capital. At Aqua, he actively participates in originating, negotiating, and closing transactions. He is also Head of Portfolio Company Operations, and is the Lead Partner for a number of portfolio companies. Prior to joining Aqua, Mr. Romero spent five years working in Latin America and Europe as a Senior Associate at Value Partners, an international consulting firm, where he led strategic projects across multiple economic sectors, and was part of various teams overseeing investments in private sector infrastructure projects. He is also a former member of the equity research team of Franklin Templeton Investments for its Latin American equity fund. Mr. Romero holds a B.A. in Economics from Universidad de San Andr's
