Valdirene Reno leads the Regulatory and Stewardship teams for Latin America—covering Brazil and Paraguay—driving regulatory strategy, enabling business growth, and strengthening organizational capabilities across the region.

Valdirene joined Corteva in Brazil in 2013 as an Insecticides Regulatory Specialist. In 2015, she became Regulatory Manager for Crop Protection, where she played a key role in advancing the registration and successful launch of several strategic innovations. She designed and executed regulatory acceleration strategies focused on endorsement actions and securing prioritization within regulatory agencies, while collaborating with global experts to meet complex data requirements for regulatory assessments.

Since the formation of Corteva, Valdirene has served in her current leadership role, guiding the Regulatory and Stewardship function for Latin America, including Brazil and Paraguay. She supports business growth by shaping regulatory pathways, fostering strong stakeholder engagement, and developing high‑performing teams.

Valdirene holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Prior to joining Corteva, she worked at Unilever (Research & Development – Household Products) and ADAMA (Regulatory Affairs).
